About PGP Corporation
Letter from the CEO
To the Worldwide PGP Community
Since the founding of PGP Corporation in 2002, our goal has remained the same: enabling and protecting global business by securing confidential, proprietary, and critical information. PGP® solutions address a growing number of threats to information security and personal privacy while protecting a company's brand and reputation.
With the latest enhancements to the PGP® Encryption Platform, businesses can now take advantage of:
- New ways to secure data: Application packages that secure data in multiple places—email, file servers, whole disks, and mobile devices
- New places to secure data: Transparent network file encryption and secure document sharing for collaborating teams (with PGP® NetShare)
- Enhanced ease of deployment: A single integrated framework for deploying and centrally managing multiple encryption applications
- Lower operational costs: A unified management console that eliminates the need to operate multiple, disparate management systems for deploying, managing, and supporting one or more encryption applications
PGP Corporation has a legacy of developing secure products that meet the highest standards set by our customers, our partners, and the industry. We remain the only commercial security vendor to publish source code for peer review, allowing everyone to look at our encryption implementations, offer feedback on current product features, and suggest new functionality. PGP® technology is also one of two standards recommended by the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST).
Because we are held to a higher standard, we have to focus on consistently delivering innovative solutions that meet changing information security needs. The extensible PGP Encryption Platform demonstrates our commitment to develop PGP solutions that can unleash a company's full potential. Thanks for your continuing support of PGP Corporation.
Regards,
Phillip M. Dunkelberger, President & CEO
